Theodore Warchal – AC Sculpture Walk from Bill Horin on Vimeo.
Theodore Warchal, Merchantville, NJ, Moon Disk, Sun Disk
“Ted Warchal expresses his vision by sculpting in many media, including metal, wood, HydroCal, paper, paint and found objects. With a variety of techniques, both conventional and experimental, he tries to create objects that have something to say about the world – and communicate his experience to others.
A gem of natural and artistic beauty on Atlantic City’s bay front, the Atlantic City Waterfront Sculpture Walk winds its way 1.1 miles along the bay front in the Marina District. It connects three of Atlantic City’s Marina Resorts, stretching from Borgata to Harrah’s and Golden Nugget. Commissioned by the Atlantic City Alliance and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, the Atlantic City Waterfront Sculpture Walk brings dramatic 3D art to a beautiful natural setting. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the quiet solitude of the bayside, with stunning views of the bay and mainland. It’s ideal for a leisurely stroll or a morning jog in the fresh breeze.
Ted Warchal is a long-time friend of DoN‘s, it is so gratifying to witness the contributions he makes to the Philadelphia arts community through his work on the board of Da Vinci Art Alliance. His original and unique artwork is now on permanent view at Atlantic City Waterfront Sculpture Walk.
